Chairperson: Mr. Stephen V. Barbaro was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended Midwood High School (1975). He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from St. John’s University (1979) where he majored in Government & Politics and minored in Philosophy. He earned a Juris Doctor Degree from Brooklyn Law School (1982). He was admitted to practice law before the Appellate Division:Second Department, the US District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts and the US Supreme Court. He is a partner in the firm of Alter & Barbaro, Esqs., a general litigation and transactional firm with offices in Brooklyn, New York. He is married to Margaret Barbaro and has three children, Stephanie, Katherine and Stephen, all St. Margaret graduates.
Vice Chairperson: Gerard Frohnhoefer is a lifelong resident of Middle Village and a St. Margaret’s graduate. His mother and his brother graduated from St. Margaret’s as well. He has been married for 48 years to Loretta with four children and eight grandchildren. All of his children attended St. Margaret's. He worked in alcohol and drug rehabilitation for seven years as program director for ENTER, INC., an ecumenical program helping addicts recover in East Harlem. In addition, he worked for Hotline Cares, a crisis intervention program for adolescents. Mr. Frohnhoefer served as the youth coordinator for Community Planning Board 5 for three years. He also worked in Adult Education Services for the Board of Elections. He later taught at Aviation High School for 15 years until his retirement in 2011. At Aviation, he held the position of union representative for six years. Today, Mr. Frohnhoefer continues to be active in East Harlem through the NYC 25th Precinct Gladiators Boxing program. Furthermore, he currently teaching sociology at LaGuardia and Queensborough Community Colleges. He also founded the Fiorello Homes for the Homeless-Villages of Hope advocacy program. He holds a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences, a BD degree in Sacred Theology Masters Degree in Theology and Sociology/Anthropology from the New School for Social Research-Graduate Center. Finally, he currently serves as a lector and eucharistic minister at St. Margaret's.

Mr. Andy Arini has been a resident of Middle Village and a St. Margaret parishioner since 1978. His daughter and his son both graduated from St. Margaret School and St. Francis Prep. He is a graduate of C.W.Post College - LIU. Prior to retirement in 2012, he worked in both the Human Resources and Information Technology departments of MetLife for close to forty years. He has been coaching in the St. Margaret Sports program since 1986 when his daughter started playing softball as a second grader, and a few years later was given the opportunity to coach his son’s fifth grade CYO basketball team. As the years went on he became more involved in the St. Margaret Sports program, coaching, running the basketball program, taking on the responsibility of Parish Athletic Representative in 1996 and running the Instructional Baseball and Basketball programs until 2015. Currently, he serves as the secretary for the St. Margaret Sports Board.
Mrs. Christine Arundel is a parent of 3 teenagers that attended and graduated from St. Margaret School over a span of 14 years. Her youngest child graduated in June 2015. Mrs. Arundel is a first-generation American with her parents having immigrated to America from Germany and Austria to follow their American dreams. She grew up helping/working alongside her parents in their bakery in Ozone Park. She is long-time resident of Middle Village and a graduate of Resurrection Ascension School and The Mary Louis Academy. She and her husband Keith are parishioners of St. Margaret Church since they married in 1995 and her family remains active members. She has a bachelors degree in Finance from Hofstra University and has business experience in banking, bookkeeping and event planning. She has a masters degree in Elementary Education from Hofstra University and holds NYS certificates in PreK-6, Gifted Education, Special Education and School Building Leadership. For 11 years, she was a teacher in both catholic and public schools prior to obtaining her current position of assistant principal in 2014.
Mr. Christopher Coscia is the Chief Operating Officer for the Greater New York Councils, Boy Scouts of America. In his current role, he primarily oversees membership enrollment, volunteer recruitment and program enhancement for the 47,000 children and 4,000 adults registered locally to the Boy Scouts of America. Under his direction, the Greater New York Councils has seen an increase in enrollment, visibility and funding. Chris was born and raised in Middle Village and is a graduate of St. Margaret’s School, St. Francis Prep and has a degree in Business Management from St. Francis College. He is currently a board member of NY Rotary and St. Margaret’s Academy. He is married to his lovely wife Lorna, former teacher at St.Margaret’s, and has two beautiful children, Ava and Ella.
Mr. Paul Morisi graduated from Cathedral Preparatory Seminary then entered St. Francis College and graduated in 2006 with a BA in History. From 2007-2010 Paul taught in the Catholic School system in Brooklyn and Queens. In 2010 Paul became the Coordinator of Adolescent and Young Adult Faith Formation for the Diocese of Brooklyn, where he serves the parishes, high schools, colleges, and numerous religious movement in ministering to the Young Church. In 2012 Paul was named as the Liason for Youth Ministry for the National Catholic Young Adult Ministers Association and in 2014 was also discenred to represent the eight Dioceses in New York State on the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry Board of Directors. In 2013 Paul completed his MA in Historical Theology from St. John's University. He and his wife Alison are expecting their first child in the Spring of 2017.
Ms. Jeanne Perry has been working as EVP of Business Affairs for The Wildflower Group since June of 2003. During her 13+ years at TWG, she has been responsible for all finance, legal and business affairs, human resources and administration activities for the company. Jeanne also provides part-time bookkeeping services for a restaurant/bar/catering hall. Prior to joining TWG, Jeanne served for 12 years at very senior levels at HIT Entertainment and her resume also includes nine years in the licensing division of Hanna-Barbera. In May of 2015, Jeanne completed the three-year lay ministry program run by the Pastoral Institute of the Brooklyn Diocese that prepared her to be a pastoral leader to serve as a co-coordinator of the Ministry of Hospitality at St. Margaret. Jeanne is also active in the parish as Extraordinary HC Minister, Lector, and member of the Family Mass committee.
Ms. Martha Rickey is originally from Syracuse, NY. She completed my undergrad work at The College of St. Joseph in Rutland, Vermont. She attended graduate school at Long Island University and received an Administration and Supervision certification from St. John's University. Ms. Rickey was a special education teacher upstate before moving to the city. Her career with the NYC Board of Ed spans 27 years. She worked in District 14, which encompasses Greenpoint and Williamsburg, the entire time. She has taught children with special needs at the first grade level and First Grade English as a Second Language. She was Mentor to the NYC Teaching Fellows and ended her career as an Assistant Principal for the last 8 years. She retired in 2011. Ms. Rickey lives in Middle Village and has been a Communicant of St. Margaret Church for 28 years. She serves on the Parish Council, is a member of the St. Martha's Guild, is a Teacher of Light, is a lector and a Eucharistic Minister. In a few weeks, she will be starting her third and final year at the Pastoral Institute.
